Northam Inaugural Committee Announces Participants for the 2018 Inaugural Parade
Richmond -- Today, Governor-elect Ralph Northam and Pamela Northam announced they will welcome Virginians to attend the Executive Mansion open house following the inauguration ceremonies on January 13, 2018.
The Executive Mansion open house will be from 2 p.m -- 4 p.m and will immediately follow the inaugural parade. Guests are invited to enter the Executive Mansion at the Capitol Square entrance and will have the opportunity to tour the Executive Mansion and greet Virginia’s new first family.

Richmond -- Today, the Northam Inaugural Committee announced participants for the 2018 Inaugural Parade.
The Inaugural Parade will start immediately following the swearing-in ceremony. The parade route will move east from Grace Street and will circumnavigate Capitol Square. The Inaugural Parade is free and open to the public, and tickets are not required.

All media representatives planning to attend the inauguration of Governor-elect Ralph Northam at noon on January 13, 2018, at Virginia’s State Capitol must obtain an event media credential. The media credential must be requested in advance using the Credential Request Form linked here.
2018 Inaugural Committee Announces Ticketing Information for Governor-elect Ralph Northam’s Swearing In Ceremony and Inaugural Ball
Richmond -- Today, the Center of the Universe Brewing Company, located in Ashland, announced the official beer of Governor-elect Ralph Northam’s inauguration, InaugurALE. Governor-elect Northam will be the first Virginia governor to have a custom-made beer for his gubernatorial inauguration.
A Belgian-style blonde ale, 100% of the ingredients used in InaugurALE are grown in Virginia. The grain was grown in the Northern Neck and malted at Copper Fox, the hops were grown at Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens, and the yeast was harvested at Agriberry Farm and handled by the scientists at Randolph Macon College. The beer will be light in body and have an alcohol by volume of 5%. InaugurALE flavors include banana, clove and citrus.
Today, the 2018 Inaugural Committee announced details regarding ticketing information for Governor-elect Ralph Northam’s swearing in ceremony and inaugural ball on Saturday, January 13, 2018.
The swearing-in ceremony will be held on January 13th at 12:00 PM and is free and open to the public. Due to limited seating, tickets will be available on a first come, first serve basis to those who request a ticket online no later than December 22nd. Requesting a ticket does not guarantee admittance to the ceremony. Those who are interested in requesting a ticket can do so at vainauguration2018.com/ceremony-tickets.
